What a month!

Honestly, September hasn't been the easiest, for many reasons!

The first week was okay, I finished Lost by Chance and sent the final draft (pre-edits) to my editor/alpha read/mother in law to go through for me. I'm so pleased with how the story came out and I can't wait for people to get to know Sebastian & Catherine!

The night before I was due to go camping with 30 young people ages 6-15, the UK stood still when our longest reigning monarch, Queen Elizabeth II died aged 96. She was the patron of the organisation I volunteer with and we really felt the loss. Until later that evening, I had no idea if the camp would be allowed to go ahead. Thankfully we were giving the all clear and I was able to spend an amazing weekend with a group of kids running amuck with dirt and fire.

I came home expecting to be able to finish of the last few edits and typos from Lost by Chance. Instead, I found that a computer glitch had wiped the saved copy back to the unfinished version. I had a printed copy, but I have to then spend over a week going through a book that I believed was finished, line by line, and then re-writing thousands of words. All to be able to send out to my marvellous ARC team. I almost lost my sanity completely, but we are finally there!

The other exciting news I have this that this coming weekend (29th September - 3rd October 2022), Coast to City will be completely free on Amazon Kindle! This is a KU thing, it's for everyone. This is to celebrate the release of my fourth novel, Lost by Chance. Coast to City came out on May 18th, THIS YEAR!!

Check out all my social media for information how to claim your own copy!

Take care

Jac
